About the Role
Zenith Energy is looking for a Procurement Process Lead to play a vital role within the Corporate Commercial team. This position is responsible for overseeing and improving procurement processes throughout the organisation. The role ensures efficiency, transparency, and visibility in the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay workflow.
You will promote best-practice supply chain strategies, policies, and processes across all procurement categories, utilizing Zenith’s Pronto ERP system and related platforms. By collaborating closely with the Operations and Project Procurement teams, you will support continuous improvement, efficient purchasing, and robust procurement governance across corporate, operational, and project environments.
What You Will Do
- Develop procurement insights and analytics, including supplier consolidation strategies and category management, to optimise spend under management.
- Provide process leadership, awareness, and compliance guidance to Operations and Project Procurement teams. Lead initiatives to reduce transactional costs while improving team capability and procurement outcomes.
- Support the identification, development, and deployment of strategic procurement processes, including data-driven sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, quality management, and performance measurement.
- Own and optimise the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, identifying system and workflow enhancements to improve compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all departments.
- Lead and champion the use of Pronto ERP and Felix Supplier Management System across the business in, providing expert guidance, user training, and ongoing process improvements.
- Assist with reporting and auditing obligations including the Modern Slavery, ESG disclosures, and procurement-related governance functions.
- Ensure subcontractor and vendor compliance with commercial requirements, including insurances, payment terms, and conditions.
- Audit efficacy of procedures within the business and report on overall business compliance with procedures, recommend and deploy process efficiency and improvement plans across functions.
What We Need from You
- Proven experience in a supply chain or procurement role
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, procurement analytics, and spend optimisation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and present effectively at all levels of the business.
- Strong systems focus, with hands-on experience using ERP systems to manage procurement processes. Pronto ERP is highly desirable.
- Certificate or bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain or related discipline
