Job Description

About The Role

Zenith is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Revit Modeller/BIM Coordinator to join our high-performing Mechanical Engineering Design Team. This position involves hands-on model coordination, supporting and implementing ACC Design Collaboration workflows, and providing daily technical support and training for designers and engineers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Revit Modeller who enjoys working across live projects and wants exposure to the full design-and-build lifecycle. You will work closely with the Mechanical Engineering Manager and Lead Mechanical Engineer, serving as a technical coordinator who bridges engineering intent, digital models, and vendor deliverables.

You will also assist in converting, packaging, and reusing legacy SolidWorks deliverables into Revit-compatible formats, libraries, and project templates.

 

What You Will Do
 

  • Create and maintain Revit MEP models and drawings according to Zenith standards.
  • Create and manage WIP, Shared, and Published Model workflows per governance.
  • Support the transition of design teams from SolidWorks to Revit.
  • Develop coordinated 3D models that integrate mechanical, piping, structural, and civil components.
  • Ensure proper setup of Revit models using approved templates
  • Coordinate discipline models in a federated Revit environment.
  • Manage model links, coordinates, and boundaries between disciplines and vendors.
  • Identify and resolve coordination clashes and interface risks.
  • Facilitate project setup and use of ACC Design Collaboration and Model Coordination.
  • Prepare and publish coordinated model packages by project milestones.
  • Support issue tracking and coordination workflows in ACC and ensure compliance with Revit modeling standards and workflows across projects.
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and procedures.

What We Need From You

Experience

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in Revit, cloud-based modeling within a mechanical, piping, structural, or multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Proven experience in coordinating models across various engineering disciplines.
  • Familiarity with structured CAD/BIM standards and workflows is essential.
  • Experience in power generation, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects with proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor, and Advance Steel would be desirable.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Skilled in managing multidisciplinary interfaces within 3D models.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective data management, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, layouts, and engineering documentation, with a solid understanding of mechanical and piping design principles that foster innovative solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in Revit collaboration tools, BIM coordination principles, and the requirements for model exchange.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of mechanical installations, manufacturing processes, and construction techniques would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Navisworks is also desirable.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Diploma in engineering, drafting, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • An Autodesk Revit Certified Professional credential (or equivalent) would be beneficial
