About the Role
Reporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, this full-time Mechanical Engineer role coordinates mechanical engineering activities closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors.
What You Will Be Doing
- Communicate effectively to convey technical information, provide guidance, and address project requirements.
- Provide specific design input into developing and designing our new power stations and supporting facilities.
- Assist our existing clients with installing generators and supporting facilities on remote sites.
- Provide operational advice for the long-term maintenance and operation of Zenith Pacific power station assets and facilities.
- Identify long-term opportunities for improvement through the provision of technical expertise.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a commercial environment
- Qualifications suitable for membership of Engineers Australia at the level of Professional Engineer with a major in Mechanical Engineering.
- Understanding of P&ID + PFD’s
- General knowledge of basic construction principles and electrical engineering.
- Experience with Pronto and Solidworks in a commercial environment would be desirable
- Mechanical engineering design and documentation, including relevant calculations and compliance with applicable Australian standards.
