About the Role
Working closely with Project Managers, Construction, and Project Controls teams, you’ll manage major contracts end-to-end—from contract creation through to close-out—ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and governance.
Alongside managing contracts end-to-end, you’ll manage the Contracts and Procurement team to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery across all projects.
You’ll provide commercial leadership, manage risk, and influence outcomes across high-value, complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full contract lifecycle (strategy, tendering, award, administration, close-out)
- Develop contracting strategies aligned to project risk profiles
- Lead RFQs/ITTs, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
- Administer contracts, purchase orders, and variations
- Provide clear advice on contractual risks and opportunities
- Manage contractor communications, notices, and correspondence
- Assess and process variations accurately and on time
- Support dispute resolution and commercial negotiations
- Collaborate with Legal on non-standard terms
- Drive continuous improvement in contract processes and systems
About You
You’re a commercially astute contracts professional who can influence stakeholders and deliver strong project outcomes.
You Will bring:
- 7+ years’ experience in contract management/administration
- Proven experience across the full contract lifecycle
- Strong contract and procurement strategy capability
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to interpret complex contracts and provide practical advice
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong written communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience in WA resources or energy sector
- Experience with Pronto or similar ERP systems
Qualifications:
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Contracts Management, Engineering, Business, or similar
