Job Description

About the Role

Zenith Energy is currently looking for a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support the Contracts Manager and the Executive Commercial, Contracts, and Procurement Manager. 

The Contract Administrator will primarily assist with the administration of contracts and associated responsibilities related to Power Purchasing Agreements (PPA) throughout the life cycle of Zenith’s Build Own and Operation (BOO) Power Station facilities.

Responsibilities will include (without limitation)

Assisting in executing obligations under the PPA, including:

  • Review and calculation of performance guarantees
  • Analysis of data for performance tracking and other commercial purposes
  • Review and assessment of the escalation of charges
  • Drafting of notices and letters

The role will also assist in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting:

  • Major packages prior to contract award
  • Technical documents for procurement purposes
  • Supply and install contracts (with support from the contracts team, legal counsel, and external advisors as needed)
  • Master Service Agreements
  • General terms and conditions with suppliers and contractors.

About You

As the Contract Administrator, you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role. 

  • Hold a tertiary level certificate or degree in procurement, construction management or related qualification.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in contracts administration or procurement within construction management, resource projects, or similar industries.
  • Experience in contract administration, whether on behalf of the client or as a supplier, is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge or experience in renewable energy is advantageous.
  • Strong administration skills are essential: including being highly organised, process-driven, detail-oriented..
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Visio, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel in particular.
  • Familiarity with Pronto 770 or a similar ERP system will be beneficial.
